Objectives :

After completing the course the students will be

To develop understanding of bases meaning, need and types of guidance.

To get acquainted with the tools and techniques of appraisal of an individual.

To get acquainted with the need and various ways of collection and dissemination of occupational information.

To develop understanding of meaning characteristics and types of counselling.

To get acquainted with process and techniques of Counselling.

To get acquainted with meaning, purposes and out-line of job-study. COURSE :

Unit -I: Guidance

*Bases of guidance Philosophical, Sociological, Pedagogical, Psychological

• Concept of guidance: Meaning, Basic assumptions, Need of guidance, Influence of family and Community on guidance.

*Functions and purposes of Guidance.

• Types of guidance, Major guidance areas - Personal, educational, Career, Social, Health, Marital, Moral.

• Adjective guidance, Identification of maladjusted children and the principles of dealing with them.

Unit - 2: Appraisal of an individual

• Testing devices- Intelligence tests, Achievement tests, Aptitude tests, Personality.

*Inventories Interest, Inventories, Attitude Scale.

*Non testing devices-Cumulative record Card, Sociometric techniques, projective techniques, Rating Scale, Case Study, Anecdotal Record, Autobiography.

Unit - 3 : Counselling

* Meaning, need, characteristics. . Principles of Counselling.

• Process and types of Counselling.

Unit - 4 : Counselling theories

Client Centered Therapy (Carl Rogers)

Rational Emotive Therapy (Albert Ellis)

• Behaviour Therapy (B.F. Skinner) • Gesalt therapy (Fredric Pearls)

• Psychoanalytic Therapy (Sigmund Freud)

Unit - 5 : Techniques of Counselling

• Individual counselling: Counselling interviews- Meaning, purpose, conditions of intervin

• Qualities and responsibilities of an interviewer, evaluation of an interview. group Counseling: Meaning, purpose, importance types of group Counselling-regular subject

*Classes, core curriculum classes, special groups, school assemblies, clubs.

उद्देश्य:               मार्क्स-100

कोर्स पूरा करने के बाद छात्र होंगे-

आधारों की समझ, आवश्यकता और मार्गदर्शन के प्रकार विकसित करना।

किसी व्यक्ति के मूल्यांकन के तरीकों और तकनीकों से परिचित होना।

व्यावसायिक जानकारी के संग्रह और प्रसार की आवश्यकता और विभिन्न तरीकों से परिचित होना।

परामर्श की अर्थ विशेषताओं और प्रकारों की समझ विकसित करना।

परामर्श की प्रक्रिया और तकनीकों से परिचित होना।

अर्थ, उद्देश्य और नौकरी-अध्ययन की आउट-लाइन से परिचित होना।

पाठ्यक्रम:

यूनिट -I: मार्गदर्शन

• मार्गदर्शन- दर्शनशास्त्र, समाजशास्त्रीय, शैक्षणिक, मनोवैज्ञानिक

• मार्गदर्शन की अवधारणा: अर्थ, बुनियादी मान्यताओं, मार्गदर्शन की आवश्यकता, मार्गदर्शन पर परिवार और समुदाय का प्रभाव।

•  मार्गदर्शन के कार्य और उद्देश्य।

• मार्गदर्शन के प्रकार, प्रमुख मार्गदर्शन क्षेत्र - व्यक्तिगत, शैक्षिक, कैरियर, सामाजिक, स्वास्थ्य, वैवाहिक, नैतिक।

• विशेषण मार्गदर्शन, कुपोषित बच्चों की पहचान और उनसे निपटने के सिद्धांत।

इकाई - 2: किसी व्यक्ति का मूल्यांकन

• परीक्षण उपकरण- खुफिया परीक्षण, उपलब्धि परीक्षण, योग्यता परीक्षण, व्यक्तित्व।

•  इन्वेंटरीज़ इंटरेस्ट, इन्वेंटरीज़, एटीट्यूड स्केल।

•  गैर-परीक्षण उपकरण-संचयी रिकॉर्ड कार्ड, सोशियोमेट्रिक तकनीक, प्रोजेक्टिव तकनीक, रेटिंग स्केल, केस स्टडी, एंकोडेटल रिकॉर्ड, आत्मकथा।

यूनिट - 3: काउंसलिंग

•  अर्थ, आवश्यकता, विशेषताएँ। ।

•  परामर्श के सिद्धांत।

• प्रक्रिया और परामर्श के प्रकार।

इकाई - 4: परामर्श सिद्धांत

• ग्राहक केंद्रित थेरेपी (कार्ल रोजर्स)

• रेशनल इमोशन थेरेपी (अल्बर्ट एलिस)

• व्यवहार थेरेपी (बी.एफ. स्किनर)

• गेसाल्ट थेरेपी (फ्रेड्रिक मोती)

• मनोविश्लेषक चिकित्सा (सिगमंड फ्रायड)

यूनिट - 5: काउंसलिंग की तकनीक

• व्यक्तिगत परामर्श: काउंसलिंग साक्षात्कार- अर्थ, उद्देश्य, इंटरविन की शर्तें

• एक साक्षात्कारकर्ता की योग्यता और जिम्मेदारियां, एक साक्षात्कार का मूल्यांकन। समूह परामर्श: समूह परामर्श-नियमित विषय के अर्थ, उद्देश्य, महत्व के प्रकार

* कक्षाएं, कोर पाठ्यक्रम कक्षाएं, विशेष समूह, स्कूल असेंबली, क्लब।व्यावसायिक कार्य:
